Sgr woman dies in Chadoora accident | KNO

Budgam, Nov 18 (KNO): A woman from Srinagar died after being hit by a vehicle at Main Chowk Chadoora in Central Kashmir's Budgam district on Tuesday morning. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a woman was hit by an Army vehicle and sustained critical injuries. She was immediately shifted to SDH Chadoora and later referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries. She has been identified as Asiya, a resident of Gilkadal, Zainimar Srinagar. Meanwhile, Police have registered a case in this regard and initiated further investigation. Moreover, the Army termed the accident as an “unfortunate incident”, saying that an inquiry has been ordered at both army and police levels. They added that in this moment of grief, their sympathies are with the bereaved family and assured that the family will be compensated as much as possible—(KNO)
